Employee Counseling Services
Adaptiva HR offers a unique approach to Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) in the form of our Employee Counseling Services. We have designed this support to be flexible and responsive to the needs we have seen working across many industries and in many communities. Here are some lessons we have learned and how we have responded:
Make the process person-focused: We try to make it easy and hassle-free to access our services. This includes no time-consuming intake procedure when you call and low wait times for an appointment. You can also choose to see the same counselor if you return weeks or months later.
High deductibles = not accessing mental health services: Insurance and medical bills are expensive so counseling services are always free to employees (and household members) with no strict limit on the number of appointments. While we cannot offer indefinite and on-going counseling services, we do not restrict your visits to a certain number per situation.
Problems are more manageable when you don’t face them alone: Sometimes you just need someone to listen and offer a little guidance. Regardless of the type of problem, our Counselors will support an employee. We never say, “I can’t help you with that.” If the problem is beyond our scope of support, we will stay with you until you feel supported enough to take care of it on your own.
