At Adaptive HR we are small but mighty. Collectively we have over 50 years of experience helping and guiding others through personal and professional changes, providing expert consultation, and practicing from a growth mindset approach. We are experts in people, people systems, Human Resources, Organizational Development, communication, change management, consulting, coaching, and counseling. While we each have our areas of specialty, we work together as a team to bring our clients comprehensive and integrated support.


  • HR Consultant, Coach, Business Owner

    Jennifer lives and works (mostly remotely) in southern Vermont where she grew up. Rural at heart and curious by nature, she brings both a practical and expansive approach to her consulting work. Jennifer seeks to fully understand her client’s needs and strengths before guiding and supporting them. Throughout her professional career (which has been a winding road!) she has been committed to joining others on their journey of growth and learning. Jennifer weaves together technical expertise, decades of related experience, and a long history of practicing mindfulness in her work as an HR (people & culture) consultant.

    Jennifer has degrees in teaching and counseling and is a Board Certified Coach. She has been an HR Consultant for 10 years.

  • Facilitator, Coach, Consultant

    Originally from New York City, Karen has called Vermont home for over 30 years. She has been with Adaptiva HR since it grew from a one-person consulting and counseling practice. As a seasoned workshop facilitator, Karen brings participants into the learning experience. She enjoys helping others learn and grow through workshops and leadership coaching. Karen works with clients on a wide range of strategic HR projects, including helping them navigate organizational changes. When she is not supporting clients at Adaptiva HR, Karen maintains a small private psychotherapy practice.

    Karen has a Master’s degree in counseling psychology, is a licensed clinical mental health counselor, and holds a certification in facilitation. She has been an organizational consultant and facilitator for over 20 years.
